We are looking to appoint a committed teaching assistant to join our supportive and dedicated team. Experience of working within a similar environment would be preferred although training can be provided for applicants wishing to have a profound impact on the lives of young people on a daily basis and gain experience in this field.
Your role will include working with a specific child with special education needs, on an individual basis to support their social and educational development. A passion for pupil progress is essential together with calmness and the ability to build relationships. You will be required to use your initiative to use individual development targets to support their learning and development. A good working knowledge of sign language is advantageous.

Harrold Primary Academy & Sharnbrook Academy

Full-time position, 37 hours per week

Grade 3D NJC Point 7 – 11, £19,554 - £21,166 per annum

We are looking to recruit a site agent to join our existing site team across the Trust and to assist the Facilities and Building Services Manager in the smooth running of two of our school sites, Harrold Primary Academy and Sharnbrook Academy. Knowledge of security, site maintenance and equipment together with porterage, cleaning and general maintenance experience is required to ensure that the school provides a clean, safe and secure environment for its staff, students and visitors. A trade skill, knowledge of cleaning operations and a good understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures would be an advantage.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate they are motivated and committed to work hard, enjoy working as part of a team and be flexible in their approach to both the job role and our schools as well as supporting the wellbeing of our students.

Working hours will be 7.00 am – 9.00 am at Harrold Primary Academy and from 9.00 am – 3.30 pm at Sharnbrook Academy with a 3.00 pm finish on a Friday.

A full clean driving licence is essential to assist in maintaining the academies fleet of minibuses, and as part of the Multi Academy Trust, you may be required to provide support to other academies within the Federation. Flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave across the SAF site team may be required.
